Due to the government restrictions around the COVID-19 pandemic and the need for social distancing, the Volkswagen Scramble Championship Final has been postponed. The event, originally set to be played 1-4 May 2020, will be rescheduled later this year
The Volkswagen Scramble Championship Final is a popular golfing event held at Twin Waters Golf Club and Novotel Twin Waters Resort each year.
The Championship Final is played under a 54 hole tournament format with amateurs teaming up with professional golfers to try and win the championship. The Volkswagen Scramble has become Australia’s largest and most successful pro-amateur team event.

The Championship Final is held on the Sunshine Coast at Twin Waters Golf Club and Novotel Twin Waters Resort. So those competing or just coming as a spectator to this magnificent resort will have a once in a lifetime experience. This course is internationally recognised as one of the top six resort courses in Australia, so is a great place to come and stay, and if you are a golfing enthusiast, compete!
Each team consists of four amateurs and one professional golfer and after 36 holes, the top half of the competition team up with one of Australia’s leading professional golfers to make a team of six for the final round. Previous Tour Pro’s to participate in the Championship Final have included; Greg Norman, John Senden, Bubba Watson, Stuart Appleby, Peter O’Malley and Cameron Percy.
Coupled with a range of social functions, this tournament is an event not to be missed. There is a welcome dinner, a theme night and a gala presentation dinner at the conclusion of the competition.
