Sunshine Coast Beerwah

Beerwah attractions are highly recommended for visitors seeking a cosy stay in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland while being able to enjoy spectacular outdoor activities.

It’s one of the bigger towns located in the Glass House Mountains, and it has everything you need for a memorable holiday.

Beerwah Attractions, Tourist Things to Do, Activities, Places To Visit, QLD

The most popular tourist destination here is Mount Beerwah, which is the largest of all the Glass House Mountains. There are two peaks on the mountain; the higher peak is 556 meters high, and it’s an iconic feature that can be seen almost anywhere from southeast Queensland. Mount Beerwah is an excellent climb though it’s only ideal for experienced climbers and takes a 2.6-kilometre return hike requiring around 4 hours to complete. However, you will be rewarded with 360-degree views that will take your breath away.

Visiting the attractions in Beerwah wouldn’t be complete without a stop at Gowinta Farms. Home to more than 200 acres of strawberry, pineapple, and lychee farms as well as greenhouse crops, this is a wonderful place to stop by and get some fresh produce for your meals.  They are especially known for their abundant juicy strawberries, so don’t miss out on this.

The Beerburrum State Forest is a tranquil destination where you can not only take in views of the Glasshouse Mountains but revel in pristine nature. It’s responsible for protecting some of the last coastal rainforests found here, and it’s best enjoyed by taking leisurely walks or adventures such as four-wheel driving, horse riding, trail biking, or mountain bike riding.

For all your shopping needs, look no further than Beerwah Village. It’s a conveniently located shopping complex connected to Beerwah Marketplace. With a grocery and several other retail outlets, this is where you can find everything you need for a cozy stay.

Other notable destinations in town include the Beerwah Golf Club, Beerwah Sportsground, and much more.
