The Sunshine Coast has over 100 kilometres of pristine shoreline, amazing lakes, and lively seaside villages.

The coast is renowned for its fresh harvest, and gourmet restaurants less found half an hour from the coast. The area is only 90 minutes north of Brisbane, but you’ll think like you’ve fled to another whole another place.

The Sunshine Coast extends north from the famous Caloundra beaches to the sparkling sands of Noosa North Shore. If you plan to visit the Sunshine Coast, here are some great places you should know of:

Take A Tour To The Enchanting Villages of Montville and Maleny

You can go through the Black countryside to the pleasant mountain towns of Montville or Maleny, a completely different atmosphere from the coastal waters.

These beautiful sister cities are only a 10-minute journey along the coast. Many tourists both visit them on a day trip from the beach, where the conditions are a little warmer due to their higher altitude.

The trip is a feature of the Blackall Range Tourist Drive, taking you to the art galleries, gift shops, restaurants and coffee houses in Montville. Maleny also has numerous galleries, attractions and is simply a beautiful town, including the Maleny Botanical Gardens and Maleny Dairies.

After a trip, you can enjoy some delicious yogurts and cheese. Walkers and nature lovers can access the Kondalilla Falls, which joins Montville. In the Mary Cairncross Scenic Park in Maleny, you’ll also discover pademelons and fresh fruit bats – all along with a beautiful view of the Glass House Mountains.

The Noosa North Shore route to Fraser Island, a World Heritage area, is 80 kilometres of sand powdered by white and smooth-rolling dunes. Visit the Stunning Rainbow Beach and Noosa North Shore. From Noosa Heads and Noosaville, you can find it across the river.

This seemingly endless stretch of beach is especially well-known to 4WD enthusiasts, fishers and beach campers for fantastic sea views and typically unpopulated sand areas. Kangaroos, goannas and blue lorikeets are part of the wildlife around the camps.

You can travel along Teewah and the ochre shaped hills of Coloured Sands if the waves are modest. Enjoy the outlook to Rainbow Beach or double Island Point before the ferry departs for Fraser Island.

You can access Noosa North Shore on a frequent vehicle ferry from the edge of Moorindil Street in Tewantin. Please note that on some inner highways and the shoreline, vehicle permits are required.

Noosa National Park is a Sunshine Coast asset. The region includes 9,800 hectares of forest, untouched ponds, jungles, dunes, and heathlands.

The most famous area is Noosa Headland, with 15 km of walks and a picturesque shoreline route that provides travellers with a lovely start to the area. The coastline, depicted by eucalyptus, banksia, and spiralling pandanus trees, offers incredible views. Sometimes, you may even see a white cockatoo up in a tree.

Dolphin Point provides coastal views and sometimes a glimpse of whales or dolphins. Tea Tree Bay is an ideal location for a paddle.

You can also walk from Noosa Main Beach to the museum door if you’re energetic.

The Glass House Mountains National Park is famous for nature lovers and walkers. The region is also of spiritual significance for the Gubbi people who used this location for commerce and sacred rituals.

Mount Beerwah is the mother who provides instruction to the smaller mountains, and the peak of the mountain is Mount Tibrogargan. The ridges are volcanic plugs, core volcanoes that are obsolete and rise like giant heckling caps and extended Antillas.

The only two hills available to the audience for walks are Mount Ngungun and Mount Tibrogargan. It provides a full range of facilities and challenging trails with fantastic ocean views.

Abseiling, hill cycling, cycling, and walking are other activities. A broad range of animals and plants, including koalas, echidnas, and grey kangaroos, are located in the shrine.

The renowned Lookout Cafe is close to the Glass House Mountains and is a lovely location where you can wander around or complete your day, with a beautiful view over a Devonshire Tea.

Shop At The Eumundi Markets

Original Eumundi Markets are the ideal location for some local flavour, approximately 20 kilometres northwest of Noosa. Every Wednesday and Saturday, the markets take place in the lovely coastal town of Eumundi.

You can find Arts and crafts, natural products, quality clothes, tasty foods, skincare products and much more. Children’s fun activities like camel tours compliment excellent food items. Roving performers are enjoyable for all, and children can play in the neighbouring playground area.

The Sunshine Coast in South-East Queensland basks in the year-round sun and has a relaxed, sub-tropical environment and squeaky-clean beaches. It’s the perfect place to unwind!

You will discover amazing beaches, with a shoreline from Caloundra to the Great Sandy National Park. Caloundra’s calm seas are suitable for families with children, surfing, or sanding your four-wheelers!
