The district is home to some of the biggest sports and entertainment complexes, such as the Lake Kawana Community Centre and the Stockland Park. With several major events taking place throughout the year, a visit here to attend some of them is an excellent way to get a feel of local life. A major tourist attraction is Lake Kawana, an artificial waterway famous for several water sports, including canoeing, kayaking, dragon boat racing, and much more. Meanwhile, the lake foreshores are furnished with trails to explore the area on foot or on a bicycle.

Kawana Waters is also popular for Kawana Shoppingworld, one of the biggest shopping malls in Queensland. There are more than 140 retailers to satisfy all your shopping needs, whether you are looking for the latest in fashion, discount shops, groceries, food, or other services. It’s a must-stop destination for visitors and locals who frequent the mall to purchase their essentials.

While visiting, don’t miss out on the opportunity to see Mount Coolum.
