When shopping on the Sunshine Coast, Buddina is a popular choice, as it houses the massive shopping centre, Kawana Shoppingworld. This is one of the largest shopping centres on the Sunshine Coast and has over 100 stores. Some of the most popular shops at this shopping complex include Big W, Woolworths and Coles, and many clothing stores, shoe stores and food outlets.

Buddina’s unspoiled beach is also popular with visitors as many water activities can be enjoyed here. You will often find locals and visitors swimming, surfing and paddling on this beach, as well as relaxing on the sand. Notably, the Buddina beach is patrolled by surf lifesavers, making this beach a great choice if you have children.

Buddina is also located near the Mooloolah River National Park. There is a lot to see and do in this wonderful park, including bushwalking, canoeing up the Mooloolah River or cycling along the edge of the park. There are short walking tracks in the Jowarra section and some fire management trails that can be used as tracks. Most people visit the Mooloolah River National Park to view the abundant wildlife and plants. The best time to view the animals is during the evening or early in the morning when they are more active.
