There are many exciting things to note about the Glass House Mountains. These encompass 11 ranges that make the perfect destination for bushwalking, exploring, and hiking. They are made from molten lava peaks that have risen from the farms below, which are home to the Gubbi Gubbi and Jinibara people.

Mount Tibrogargan is ideal for families, being just 364 metres in height. Though the peak is small, it’s one of the more easily recognisable mountains because it resembles an older man hunched down and whose face looks out to sea. Mt Beerwah, at 556 metres, is the highest peak and offers an easy 200-metre walk along with beautiful eucalyptus forests to a stunning day-use area that’s perfect for picnics. While those two are among the most popular mountains, thanks to Indigenous folklore, many more adventures await you amongst the other peaks.
