Secret Garden

Secret Garden is a lovely live music event every first Sunday of the month in the Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens.

Visitors will be swept away by the incredible vocals and amazing tunes played by artists in various genres here – it’s the perfect way to wind down on a Sunday!

This family-friendly music event starts at around 2pm, so bring a picnic rug, snacks and drinks, and prepare to soak up some delicious ear candy and live performances in this stunning venue. There are different artists each week, including touring artists to delight visitors and locals. There’s always something new, whether pop or reggae, to look forward to. Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $5 for kids, plus a small service fee. Little Groovers, or kids under 5, can enter for free.

Troubador Wagons produce Secret Garden, a unique travelling venue hire specialising in micro music festivals, weddings, events, and other celebrations. The venues they design are magical as they are inspired by the travelling poets and artists of the 13^th century, hence the touches of medieval influences in their setup. The concept responded to the pandemic, which has shut down many indoor cultural venues. This innovative way to enjoy live music in a safe outdoor setting has allowed more people to appreciate entertainment and the arts.

The venue itself is worthy of visiting. The Maroochy Bushland Botanic Garden is a breathtaking destination in Tanawha and is home to hundreds of plants spread throughout the 82-hectare garden. It includes native plants, flowers, and wildlife. Amenities on-site include car parking, toilets, picnic facilities, and a café.
