The journey is part of the experience, and whether you road trip, jump on a plane or self-drive in for the day, you’re in for an epic outdoor concert, off the beaten track with not a worry in the world.
The Kenilworth Showgrounds is a magnificent open-air site surrounded by rolling hills and dissected by the Mary River. Patrons are encouraged to bring a camp chair or small picnic rug to the event. All venue areas have a view of the stage and the giant custom-built KickAss firepit to enjoy when cooler temperatures kick in.
General Admission Tickets give access to all General Admission areas of the venue. Patrons are advised to bring a camp chair for General Admission areas. General Admission tickets do NOT include camping at Kenilworth Showgrounds; however, it’s recommended you take advantage of the complimentary courtesy buses that will operate between selected campgrounds in the Kenilworth area. General Admission ticket holders are encouraged to view the Campground map below for more information and to see what campgrounds are included in the courtesy bus loop. Camping is NOT compulsory to attend this Festival.
KickAss Admission Tickets have the same inclusions as the General Admission Tickets except for the KickAss Festival limited merchandise pack. It still does NOT include camping at the Kenilworth Showgrounds, and the attendee must make their own arrangements.
VIP tickets give you access to all general admission areas as well as the VIP areas. VIPs also include three nights camping in the VIP campground located immediately South of the Festival venue within Kenilworth Showgrounds. VIPs will also have access to the private bar, luxury toilets, comfortable seating and heating; VIPs receive a merchandise pack, stage viewing platform, and private lounge area limited to 350 PAX. VIP ticket holders must check in at the box office before entry to collect accreditation. VIP tickets are limited to 18+ only unless the adult is in the care of an infant or child under 5. Sorry for any inconvenience. VIP tickets without camping are also available.
Attendees who are camping in the Kenilworth area are advised that General Admission and/or KickAss admission includes the complimentary courtesy bus operating between selected campgrounds as follows:
- Kenilworth Homestead
- Charlie Moreland
- Bluff Creek
- Kenilworth Camping on the River
- Parklands Camping
- Kookaburra Park
The courtesy buses will operate from midday – 11pm on Friday & Saturday continuously on a loop. To limit congestion and to ensure you get on the bus, it’s advised to enter the Festival early so you don’t miss out on seeing the artists you want to perform.
Parking is available at the Kenilworth School (across the road from Kenilworth Showgrounds). The school’s P&C committee will collect parking fees on both Friday and Saturday nights. Please cooperate with traffic management and school volunteers when entering and departing the designated car park.
The Box Office is located at the concert entry point and will be open from 60 minutes before the gates open until the headline artist commences. For those with pre-purchased tickets, please have your ticket printed and ready for scanning at the gates, or alternatively have the barcode ready on your phone with the device brightness turned up.
This event is open to all ages. Patrons under five years are admitted free of charge with a paying parent/guardian. All patrons under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. All VIP Bar patrons must have a full paying valid ticket regardless of age.
