Taking place over three days and two nights, the family-friendly festival has something for everyone. Kids will enjoy the dedicated space where they can engage in arts and crafts and other creative activities. Meanwhile, the adults can revel in the music, dance, food, and of course, the bar.
No matter what your age, you’re sure to have a great time at Buskers by the Lake. While busking is the heart and soul of the event, there are lots more you can enjoy: Afro-Brazilian drums, daring stunts, floating half-pipe, and so much more. They’ve hosted some big names in the past, including Tones and I, who then became the first artist in history with a #1 song on the ARIA Singles Chart for the cult favourite “Dance Monkey” for almost half a year.
Do know that the festival doesn’t have any huge stadiums or bright lights: it’s a grassroots festival that seeks to showcase talented artists – no matter their ability. They have been known to bring together an eclectic group of talented artists in a crazy, fun festival environment. Aside from that, there will be delicious food for all kinds of cravings, tons of art in various mediums, and a bar.
Buskers by the Lake is a unique celebration of busking that you’re not going to want to miss.
