Sunshine Coast Wineries & Hinterland Wine Tours, Qld
The Sunshine Coast wine region mainly encompasses three wine regions, including the Blackall Range, Traveston and Kenilworth.
While the warmth of the region is perfect for growing Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes, there are also cooler locations within the region which produce juicy Pinot Noir and Shiraz.
Within its acres of verdant landscape, there are several boutique wineries, small family-owned wine-making facilities, and acres of lush vineyards with onsite cellar doors.
As most of these wineries and vineyards are located around hilly areas, you’ll come across many lookouts and vantage points; all offering gorgeous views of the hinterland and its nearby valleys.
Many Sunshine Coast wineries also make for great wedding venues. Whilst the event management team makes your special day arrangements, you can tie the knot at a specially decorated vineyard setting with stunning views of the hinterland or beach.
To cater to the needs of such tourists and visitors, you can book a tour on any day which visit many of the local cellar doors. Most tours also offer complementary tasting and often include a stop for lunch at one of the winery restaurants.
