Caloundra Triathlon

The Caloundra Triathlon is a huge sporting event that will be held at Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast. This exciting event welcomes participants from all over Australia and from all age groups to compete to win.

Perfectly located, Caloundra provides the perfect setting for this event due to its year-round warm climate and pristine surf beaches.

Caloundra Triathlon Club Dates 2018 Series Sunshine Coast Queensland

This race held in February is part 2 of a two stage race, the first being held in December 2015. New entrants are welcome and this race is suitable for all ages and abilities. Swim fins are permitted and registration closes the Thursday before the event.

There are a number of triathlons that can be entered: “Just Tri It Race”: 300m Swim, 10km Cycle, 3km Run; and the “Doin It Already Race”: 600m Swim, 20km Cycle, 6km Run.

Kids can also participate with specially designed courses just for them: 7-9 year olds: 100m Swim, 2.5km Cycle, 500m Run; and 10-12 year olds: 200m Swim, 5km Cycle, 1km Run.

The Caloundra Triathlon caters for many levels of fitness and experience including kids, first timers, age group athletes, corporate groups and professional athletes. So make sure to choose a distance that you are comfortable with completing and have a great time competing!
