The best time to visit is from June to November, as this is when you have better chances of spotting whales. After visiting the Dolphin Point Lookout, make your way to Granite Bay. Wear comfortable hiking shoes so that you can safely make the track that increases in elevation up the coast. The higher you get, the more breathtaking the views become. Most of the walk takes you beneath the canopy, though it can get hot, so be sure to bring sunscreen and water.
