Gympie is a regional city located along the Bruce Highway, just 60kms north west of Noosa Heads. Known as a historic town due to its gold field, there are a number of historic buildings located here.

Gympie is also well known for its annual Show and the famous Gympie Music Muster which are held in May and August respectively.
