Buderim

Buderim is a mountain town located just 10 minutes west of Mooloolaba. Its unique location makes Buderim the ideal place to enjoy magnificent vistas of the Pacific Ocean, Glass House Mountains and the Blackall Range.

One of the areas worth exploring in Buderim is Foote Sanctuary, a 9-hectare area dotted with different tree varieties labelled botanically. There is also a secret forest sanctuary behind “Harry’s Restaurant,” a famous dining area in town. This hidden jewel, known as “Buderim Forest Park,” has a viewing platform that leads to a creek cascading over basalt rocks and a waterfall framed by a beautiful wooden arch.

The Tramway Walk combines nature with history, as the trail takes you to the old train routes of Buderim. The old tracks were removed, and in its place, a walking trail was created for visitors.

Make sure to take a trip out to the Buderim Conservation Park, a beautiful piece of rainforest in the heart of the Sunshine Coast. With over 45 hectares of land, this luscious forest is best known for the Buderim Falls, a gorgeous waterfall centrepiece of the beautiful landscape.
