The park is equipped with a fenced enclosure, so you can have peace of mind to let your dogs run off their leash. It’s kept clean throughout the year, and it never gets too crowded. Big or small, all pups are welcome! Both you and your dog are sure to have a wonderful time here; it’s no wonder that it’s become a well-loved park in the community.

Warana Dog Park is conveniently located and close to many attractions. If you’re feeling adventurous and want to explore more dog-friendly locations in the area, you’re in luck, as there are dozens to choose from. Other must-visit places are in Noosa Heads, which is simply one of the most beautiful beaches in Queensland – a dog-friendly one at that too! Located by the mouth of the Noosa River, this area is perfect for letting your pup play off-leash on the soft white sand. Just be sure to bring your own water and food because the nearest cafes are on Hastings Street, which is a little far.

There’s also Coolum Beach, which has an off-leash area by Stumers Creek. This is a quiet but popular dog beach, and its tranquil ambience invites dog-loving visitors to unwind for a few hours. You can even take a dip with your pooch in the calm waters – perfect for a sunny day! By the end of the creek is a car park furnished with amenities including picnic tables, toilets, doggie bags, tap water, and a playground.

Other dog-friendly locations include Point Cartwright Beach, North Shore & Maroochy River, Moffat Beach, Currimundi Beach, and the beaches of Wurtulla, Buddina, and Bokarina.

Warana Dog Park should be on the top of your list when visiting dog-friendly locations on the Sunshine Coast.
