Sippy Downs Skate Park

Sippy Downs Skate Park is one of the smaller street skate parks in town.

However, don’t be fooled by its size; it’s quietly tucked away in a residential neighbourhood but has ample space for much fun.

The park’s main highlight is the 4-foot quarter, with two of them connected. This results in a quarter that’s around 4-5 metres wide. There are resurfaced, and painted areas found on other sides of the park, and most of them are pretty smooth. Other features include a double kicker on its right side, a curved quarter and a grind box on the walkway.

Sippy Downs Skate Park is one of the many attractions in this area of the Sunshine Coast. It’s bordered by the stunning Mooloolah River National Park and the Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens, both of which are fantastic tourist destinations that are worth visiting while here. The Mooloolah River, in particular, is an idyllic place for water sports, including canoeing. Visit in the spring, and you’ll be treated to a vibrant display of colourful wildflowers.

Meanwhile, the Botanic Gardens is highly recommended for the entire family. Everyone will love the many things to explore, including wetlands, sculpture gardens, fern glades, rock pools, and much more. The flora and fauna that thrive here are nothing short of amazing.
