Explore the area by taking the popular walk, leading you to the lookout from the beach. The stroll is incredibly scenic, as Norfolk pines line the path on one side and the glistening ocean on the other. There is also the option of following the boardwalk that starts at the Surf Life Saving Club by the beach. The best views are had north of the coast, and if you continue walking for 1.5 km, you’ll get to Point Arkwright.

Point Perry is a well-loved destination, as locals know it’s a terrific place to spot dolphins, migratory whales, and even turtles. Because of the spectacular views, it’s no surprise that it has become a great place to exchange vows. It’s just a stone’s throw away from the many excellent dining spots in Coolum, and there are toilets and picnic tables as well.

Afterwards, enjoy the many beautiful attractions to explore in Coolum Beach. This surfing hot spot has a laid-back ambience that attracts even non-surfers time and again. Bring the kids for surf lessons; many licensed instructors on the beach make it easy for everyone to learn how to surf all year round. The most iconic landmark here is Mount Coolum, famous for its unique round-topped peak and scenic nature hikes.

Coolum Beach is fantastic for many water sports. Point Arkwright also has a wonderful trail that takes you through bushland, beaches, and bays. It’s an easy one-kilometre-long pathway that makes for a great short run or sightseeing trip.

Point Perry and its surrounding attractions make for the ideal sun-drenched holiday.
