During certain times of the year, areas of the park are covered in vibrantly coloured wildflowers that are truly a sight to behold. The entire family can spend hours here walking around, marvelling at the spectacular beauty of nature. Many species of birds can also be found here, and specifically, it’s known for being home to the only colony of the local Yellow-tufted Honeyeaters on the Sunshine Coast.

The Palmview Conservation Park makes for a wonderful day out in nature. There are several other attractions worth checking out in Palmview; it’s located on the Bruce Highway, just 10 minutes away by car from Mooloolaba’s golden beaches. For more immersion in nature, the Mooloolah National Park is close by. Several natural waterways that have been rehabilitated weave through town are best enjoyed through the numerous walkways and parks found here.

Other things to explore with the family include the Aussie World theme park, which is a thrilling destination where you can go on an exhilarating rollercoaster, as well as dodgem cars, go-karts, a Ferris wheel, or carousel. Afterwards, wind down with a pint at The Pub. The best accommodation places can be found along the beach in Mooloolaba, and there are choices available for every kind of budget, whether you’re looking for cabins, modern apartments, resorts, backpacker hostels, and so much more.

The Palmview Conservation Park is one of the stunning places in this corner of the Sunshine Coast that should not be missed.
