This park is divided into two zones: the Mooloolah River Section and the Jowarra Section. Both areas are known for protecting the coastal rainforests in this area which face the danger of extinction. There is a lot to see and do in this wonderful park including bushwalking, canoeing up the Mooloolah River or cycling along the edge of the park. There are short walking tracks in the Jowarra section as well as some fire management trails that can be used as tracks in the Mooloolah section.

The gardens are a place of natural beauty, where visitors can come for a peaceful stroll and relax as they walk through the fern gullies and past the on-site lagoon.
