Castaways Beach

Castaways Beach is a beautiful coastal suburb located south of the Noosa Heads and near Sunrise Beach, home to the Noosa National Park and Castaways Estate.

This popular residential area has several attractions to offer visitors as well.

Castaways Beach, Dog Friendly, Off-Leash Area & Swimming, QLD

The beach itself is popular for surfing and swimming, and anyone who wants to enjoy a day in the sun without the crowds. The absence of mass tourism makes this beach ideal for total relaxation for families and friends.

Most parts of the public beach are dog-friendly, so feel free to bring along your pets. The best time to come for swimming is during the summer when the water is much warmer.

Since Castaways Beach is so close to Noosa Heads, it would be a crime not to explore the Noosa National Park while you’re here. This is where you’ll be treated with mind-blowing coastal scenery and breathtaking viewing platforms. The Noosa National Park is an essential habitat for many species of native wildlife; it’s a picturesque reserve where you’ll get to see koalas, parrots, black cockatoos, and wallum froglets, among others.

Better yet, why not go on a picnic at the park while taking in views of the stunning Laguna Bay? Noosa National Park is equipped with BBQs, picnic tables, toilets, drinking water, and information displays. Should you wish to stay a night or two, there are numerous resorts, holiday homes, and boutique apartments for rent in and around Castaway Beach. Most accommodation options are already equipped with everything you need for a fun stay with family and friends: en-suite kitchens, free Wi-Fi, lounge areas, and modern amenities.

Noosa Beach is nearby and worth visiting for its incredible white sand and turquoise waters. It’s home to a cosmopolitan coastal community, with chic restaurants and cafes all over town. Located in the southern area of Laguna Bay, Noosa Beach is famous for being a fashionable destination. Swimming is terrific all year round; it’s also the best place to get your surfing lessons in.

Castaways Beach and its nearby attractions are perfect for beach-loving holidaymakers.
