Elimbah

Elimbah is a town in the Moreton Bay Region, north of Caboolture and south of Beerburrum.

Its name is said to be derived from an Aboriginal term that means ‘water snake habitat‘.

The Kabi people were the traditional landowners of the town, though, in the past, it was called ‘The Six Mile‘, especially when it was a popular resting place for bullocks and horses. It was officially given its name in 1902 after the prodding of residents. In recent years, the township has developed a reputation for being a wonderful place to reside, as it now attracts more and more people who migrate here each year.

Elimbah is a paradise to live in for many, thanks to the absence of traffic and crime and the abundance of peace. Much of it is still bucolic, and if you love that kind of charm, you’ll fall in love with this town. There are many things for everyone to do here, but don’t miss out on White Ridge Farm. This is where you and the kids can spend hours feeding and petting a wide variety of animals, such as alpacas, llamas, and camels.

White Ridge Farm is the perfect destination for kids and a fantastic events venue. They cater to birthday parties where the celebrant and their guests can enjoy two hours of picnicking, using the facilities such as the trampoline and adventure playground, hayrides that both parents and kids can enjoy, and a farm tour. It’s all you need for your kids to have an unforgettable birthday.

Another special place is the Rolin Farm, which is operational from June through October. Rolin Farms is known for the most delicious fresh strawberries that you can handpick yourself. They also have a shop on-site where you can purchase a wide range of goods, including strawberry jams, strawberry souvenirs, cold drinks, coffee, tea, homemade honey, orchids, and so much more.

Elimbah is a truly unique place with lots to offer. Make sure you check out the range of accommodation choices nearby, including some holiday houses, bed and breakfasts, cottages and retreats.
