Pirate Park, Playground, Public BBQ, Picnic Tables, Walking Path, Bellara

The park is clean and always maintained properly. It’s equipped with benches, a tranquil sitting area underneath trees, BBQs, parking, disability access, and toilets. The playground is suitable for children aged three and above. Best of all, the park has direct access to the sea so that you can walk right out onto Sylvan Beach for swimming, especially on warm days. This area has long been a favourite of families because there’s so much to do with the kids without going too far.

After Pirate Park, Sylvan Beach is one of the most popular family beach spots in Bribie Island too, and it’s famous for its safe swimming. It’s also a lovely picnic spot for those who want to relax, but if you wish to go boating and adventure, they have that. A boat ramp by the sea makes it easy to hire a boat and explore, though visitors can also bring their own boat. You can purchase some bait at a shop by the sea, but there’s no need to worry if you don’t catch anything here; there are several excellent restaurants by the beach where you can enjoy a hearty meal.

There are some shops nearby where you can find handmade goods, beach essentials, and souvenirs too. Bribie Island is rich in a wholesome adventure that all ages will appreciate. However, for the dads and big kids who love a thrill, you can’t go wrong with 4WD on Banksia Beach. It’s one of the best places on the Sunshine Coast for this thrilling experience.

Pirate Park and its surrounding areas will have families entertained for days on end.
