The park’s play amenities are suitable for kids of all ages. It’s also equipped with slides of varying heights so that children of all ages, heights, and skill levels can easily climb and slide to their hearts’ content. The bright climbing walls that can be ascended via a set of steps is particularly loved by younger kids.

Les Lee Park has another smaller sea-themed playground for toddlers that is built under shade sails. It’s ideal for letting the kids play even on warm days on the Sunshine Coast, plus the sandy bottoms make it safer for landing. There are several picnic shelters located around the playground where parents can relax. Well-maintained electric BBQs are provided, with other facilities in the park, including public toilets equipped with showers, baby change facilities, facilities for the disabled, car parking, drinking water, and paved pathways suitable for biking walking, and scooters.

For another exciting family-friendly destination, head over to the Barnacles Dolphin Centre just across the parking area. This is a terrific place to get up close and personal with humpback dolphins, where everyone can enjoy interacting with these magnificent creatures – even feeding them.

While in Tin Can Bay, you can easily go on other thrilling family adventures. Visitors can rent a boat at the bay to explore the coastline, though it’s also a terrific spot for some fishing.

Rainbow Beach is a great place to get everyone involved in surfing lessons.

Les Lee Park and the rest of Tin Can Bay attractions have tons to offer for memorable family holidays. This destination on the Sunshine Coast should not be missed!
