Centaur Park is especially popular among birdwatchers. Some of the species you can find here include the Pied Oystercatcher, Sooty Oystercatcher, Silver Gulls, Pied Cormorant, Little Black Cormorant, Australian Ibis, Osprey, Australian Magpie, Noisy Miner, White-faced Heron, and many more.

Many other outdoor activities canoutdoor activities that can be enjoyed while at King’s Beach. The Caloundra Surf School is a famous establishment known for its world-class standard of surfing lessons. Packages are available for every age and skill level, so if you haven’t tried surfing, your visit to the Sunshine Coast is the perfect opportunity.

The Caloundra Coastal Walk is recommended if you want to see more of what the region offers. This scenic walk is 25 kilometres long, stretching from Golden Beach to Mooloolaba. Go on a leisurely pace and bring your camera and walking shoes; you’re in for a treat as you see many of the best sights all within one day.

From swimming in King’s Beach to meeting dolphins and birdlife at the Pumicestone Passage, a quick history lesson at the Military Jetty and the Kings Beach Bathing Pavilion, and more.
