Carter Park

Carter Park is a sports oval located in Golden Beach, Caloundra.

It’s a community sporting destination and home to the Caloundra Panthers Australian Football Club and the Caloundra Little Athletics.

The Caloundra Panthers AFL Club was founded in 1973 and is a non-profit community-based sports organisation. Its mission is to promote and develop junior and senior football players while promoting active lifestyles for avid football players.

The Caloundra Branch Little Athletics was founded after the 1983/1984 football season, as many local families decided that it was time to form a football club in Caloundra.  They have been hosting meetings at Carter Park for over 15 years now.

The park is one of many family-friendly recreation areas in Golden Beach. If you are looking for a fun destination to take your loved ones, don’t miss out on this area of the Sunshine Coast.

It’s ideal for many outdoor activities, especially fishing, swimming, and boating on the numerous surf beaches. Take the kids along the coastal road heading to central Caloundra, which is equipped with many shaded areas where all can enjoy al fresco BBQs and the young ones can safely play.
