Caloundra Indoor Stadium

The Caloundra Indoor Stadium is the only multi-purpose, four-court airconditioned sports facility on the Sunshine Coast.

Boasting state-of-the-art amenities, the stadium is a events venue for sports competitions and major events venue for sports competitions and exhibitions and trade shows.

The stadium caters to a wide range of sports: it has four basketball courts, four indoor netball courts, eight outdoor netball courts (four with lighting), sixteen badminton courts, six volleyball courts, and four indoor soccer courts. Aside from all that, there are also kiosks, tables and chairs, and wheelchair access provided.

Visitors are free to rent a facility here for a fee. It can seat as many as 2,500 people, and the entire area spans 3,600 square metres. The sports facilities meet international playing standards, and it offers a world-class experience for both players and spectators. High-end LED lighting has been added recently for an even better experience.

Caloundra Indoor Stadium is conveniently located in one of the most beautiful areas of the Sunshine Coast: Golden Beach. If you love staying fit, you’re not limited to indoor gyms here. Golden Beach offers fantastic swimming, jogging, fishing, kayaking, and boating.

Take the whole family for a beachside BBQ, soak up the sun and incredible coastal views. Playgrounds in the nearby areas are perfect for the kids while parents relax in shaded seats. Lots of good times to be had!

Practice your swing at the Pelican Waters Golf Club, not too far from the stadium. It’s the first golf course in the Sunshine Coast designed by golfing legend Greg Norman and is undoubtedly one of the world’s best courses. The award-winning facility boasts 18 holes, a 6,359-metre championship golf course, modern amenities, and a well-stocked golf shop.
