Once you reach the bridge, head north on Sunderland Drive, continuing through White Patch Esplanade. From here, take the main track headed north at the turn-off, taking you to the Poverty Creek Camping Area.

The authorities regulate Bribie Beach Access Track so that all visitors have a pleasant and safe experience camping and driving. Only registered 4WD or 6WD vehicles can drive within the recreation area and only stay within designated beaches and roads. Unfortunately, 2WD and motorbikes are not allowed here. Various speed limits apply to different parts of the track.

Many visitors prefer to camp at the Bribie Beach Access Track’s designated areas, as it’s the best way to make the most out of your experience here. Imagine being able to sleep under the stars and hearing the waves crash after an adrenaline-pumping drive? That’s precisely what you can expect here.

For safety, it is not advisable to drive on the beach 2 hours before or after high tide since the area is prone to extreme high tides that can render parts of the beach inaccessible. Driving on the sand dunes is not permitted.

Bribie Beach Access Track is your perfect thrilling weekend escape on the Sunshine Coast.
