Arrawatta Lookout, also known as Traveston, is a picturesque viewpoint in the Mary Valley.
It’s a terrific destination for families and friends to picnic while taking in splendid views of the valley’s north and northeastern areas.

There are other scenic lookouts in the Mary Valley to explore, too. The Conondale National Park is home to several lookouts. It also features a scenic track that takes you from the Booloumba day-use area to Charlie Moreland Park. Alternatively, you can also visit these sights when you go on the Conondale Great Range Walk.
At the heart of town, you’ll find the Imbil Lookout. A small local grocery store can be found here, ideal for stocking up on supplies for your walk or picnic. Meanwhile, the Amamoor Lookout is located over the bridge, right in the Amamoor Township.
The Arrawatta Lookout and the surrounding lookouts are a great place to visit for a day outdoors. Be sure to bring your camera!
