This small town is just 5 minutes away from the iconic Australia Zoo, established by none other than Steve Irwin. The zoo is one of the world’s best and a true legacy left by the famous crocodile hunter. In town, other things you can do include scoping out the museum, checking out the quaint shops, and a historic local pub.
Check out the Beerwah Forest Reserve and the State Forest for those keen on a true nature immersion. The State Forest is home to an abundant amount of wildlife as well as thriving plants and flowers.
