Lake MacDonald is a rural town in the Shire of Noosa. This residential area is a lovely town with many relaxing outdoor destinations that families will appreciate when visiting.

It was built in 1965, though raised in 1980 to improve its capacity. Visitors should keep in mind that the dam is ungated, so water will flow out safely when it’s full.
