Swimming season starts during the September school holidays and continues through May. They offer world-class swimming lessons for both children and adults and have a partnership with Swimming Australia to ensure that their swimming and water safety classes are up-to-date and effective but focused on activity-based learning.

The swimming lessons at Tin Can Bay Swimming Pool encourage kids to think and learn while they have fun in the water. The curriculum encompasses seven learning areas: entries and exits, floating and sculling movement, personal survival, underwater skills, rescue and emergency, and water safety knowledge.

Adult swimming lessons, known as the GOswim Adult Program, are encouraged for those who still haven’t learned. Remember, it’s never too late. The adult programs are customised so that they can cater well for each student’s needs. They take place in small group classes to promote comfort as well as confidence during aquatic activities. All classes are delivered by a fully accredited and professional swim teacher and always within a safe environment.

The facility has kiosks on-site too, which sell refreshments, ice cream, snacks, and coffee. If your child has a birthday coming up, why not throw them a pool party here? The incredible staff will be more than happy to organise a kids’ pool party so that the parents can relax. The party services they offer include party planning, invitations, and pool games.
