Pumicestone Park is one of the most beautiful places for a family picnic in Donnybrook.

It’s equipped with numerous amenities so that both adults and kids can enjoy it.

The park is clean and well-maintained and provides lots of space for children to run around. Since it’s located on the waterfront, everyone can go for a swim and cool down anytime. The shaded sandpit promises hours of fun, while parents can go off for a fishing trip in the old jetty.

Pumicestone Park is also equipped with other amenities, including shaded tables and toilets. If you would rather buy some food, there is excellent fish and chips nearby. The jetty shop also has fishing equipment if you left some at home; they also sell essentials such as sun cream, refreshments, and snacks.

If your kids are looking for more sports and activities while in the area, take them to Alice Street Park nearby. This is another great park in Donnybrook that provides excellent facilities for sporty and athletic kids. They are equipped with a half basketball court, BMX, and skate facility. All of these are in a beautifully landscaped park with picnic tables and shaded gazebos where visitors can unwind and rest.

There is lots to do if you want to keep your kids busy while visiting Donnybrook and its surrounding areas. It also has a colourful history, and in fact, was once called Little Caloundra and Toorbul Township. These days, the town and its coastline are most popular for the excellent fishing and water activities around the jetty; it’s also a wonderful place to spend the day on a boat.

Pumicestone Park and the rest of Donnybrook’s attractions have everything for a memorable family holiday.
