Its facilities include a swing good for 6, spinning gadgets, a mini-tower, bridge, slipper dips, climbing ropes, and much more. A sandy area provides a safe place for kids to land from the slides, and there is lots of space for children to run around.

Phil Rogers Park has also become a popular picnic destination because it’s so spacious and close to the shops. Other amenities include shaded picnic benches and toilets. The park is also scenic, as visitors love taking in views of the Pacific Ocean, Fraser Island, and Double Island Point from the park’s lookout. The cool sea breeze provides respite on warm days, too.

Since the park is right on Rainbow Beach, you can easily access this lovely stretch of sand and go for a dip. Rainbow Beach is famous for being a picturesque adventure playground for all ages, and many tourist attractions are nearby.

After taking time to enjoy the beach, check out the Cooloola Recreation Area, which is a 41,000-hectare destination filled with wonder.  Majestic sand dunes, coloured sand cliffs, and a wide beach are just some of the incredible sights that you’ll meet here. The sands are peppered with tall forest and wildflower heaths that will take your breath away. There are also many water features, including freshwater lakes and the nearby Noosa River, perfect for swimming.

Phil Rogers Park and the many idyllic sights around Rainbow Beach make it an iconic destination on the Sunshine Coast that families should not miss.
