Maroochydore Rotary Park

The Maroochydore Rotary Park is one of the most popular family parks and playgrounds in Maroochydore.

Designed to have something for visitors of every age, it’s no surprise why so many people love coming here.

Maroochydore Rotary Park, Playgrounds, Memorial, Public BBQ & Toilets

Located on a scenic spot just by the Maroochydore River not too far from Cotton Tree, the park offers stunning views, easy river access, and lots of facilities to keep kids and adults having fun for hours. The amenities include electric BBQs and shaded picnic tables, making it perfect for celebrating birthdays and other occasions outdoors. Meanwhile, kids can choose from not just one but two playgrounds, which are designed with a range of equipment to accommodate kids of all ages.

The Maroochydore Rotary Park is also popular for the new boat and nautical-themed playground. It features a wonderful boathouse structure that kids love climbing around and using their imagination to play pirates. Kids can also strengthen balance and coordination while playing here, thanks to the design features such as large rocks and a small bridge to climb on. The older playground is bigger too and suitable for young kids who enjoy classic playground features like a seesaw, swings, slide, sandpits, and much more.

The park is thoughtfully designed to ensure parents and kids have a grand time. The Maroochy River offers fantastic fishing, too; hop on over to the jetty from where you can spend hours trying your hand at catching some fish.

You can park your cars along the street at The Esplanade, then take a short path leading you to the park. Public toilets and disabled toilet facilities are available here too. Don’t forget to bring along some sunscreen because only the larger playground area has shade.

Whether you’re looking for a tranquil spot to take the kids or a beautiful setting for a fun family get together, Maroochydore Rotary Park has just what you need.
