Lions Park (Noosa Heads)

Lions Park in Noosa Heads is a stunning open green space that is recommended for picnics.

It’s also home to some of the most beautiful waterfront properties in the country and a great place to begin exploring the best that Noosa has to offer.

The park occasionally hosts events and festivals, but the rest of the year, it has become a family favourite for outdoor activities and relaxation. The park is also named after the Lions Club, which is pivotal to serving the many communities in Australia. They actively support the regional community of Noosa. They are responsible for a wide range of services such as building parks, awarding scholarships, supporting hospitals, assisting the youth, and much more.

After spending time at Lions Park, there’s a lot more to do while here. The Noosa National Park should be next on your list; this unique destination offers all kinds of nature such as rainforest, clifftops, sand, and water. Many walking tracks typically begin and end at the day use of the Noosa headlands area. Watch out for adorable koalas or black cockatoos that hang out at the treetops.

Noosa’s main beach is another terrific coastal area, famous for its sunshine and beautiful beach area. Surf lifesavers patrol the beach every day, so you can have peace of mind when you bring your kids. The waters are excellent for surfing and swimming, and there are some gentle waves so even beginners can practice their surfing. Other fantastic activities to enjoy here include horse riding by the beach, cruising on ferries, dining out, canoeing, kayaking, and stand up paddling.

Lions Park is just one of the many attractions you can enjoy with friends and family here.
