Chambers Island, Fishing, Weddings, Playground & Map, Maroochydore

Chambers Island is located parallel to Bradman Ave at the Thomas St corner in Maroochydore and offers a wide range of outdoor recreational activities. With beaches all the way around, you will find many places to stop and have a paddle in the water.

You will often find people on the island sailing, paddleboarding, jet skiing, boating, kayaking and canoeing. You will also find that this is an excellent spot for fishing or drop a crab pot into the water as you are likely to catch flathead, trevally, bream or whiting.

There are toilet facilities on the island, and you can hire watercraft from the boat hire stores nearby. Over near the picnic area, you can find a children’s playground with a swing set and slide, which will keep your kids entertained for hours. Bring a picnic and enjoy the outdoors at one of the picnic tables.

If you don’t want to cook, you can go back to the footbridge to visit one of the nearby cafes and shops for burgers, fish, chips and cold drinks.

So stop past Chambers Island on your next Sunshine Coast holiday.
