Caloundra Regional Gallery

The Caloundra Regional Gallery focuses on presenting quality work by both local and national artists with an ever-expanding and revolving range of public programs and exhibitions.

The Caloundra Regional Gallery is conveniently located in the central business district of Caloundra and not far from the visitor information centre.

What makes the Caloundra Regional Gallery unique is how it has such a strong educational focus, evidenced by one of its core missions being to provide economic, cultural, and social growth of their community. They accomplish this through their Art Kids Club, which is held on the first Saturday of every month.

Many rotating exhibitions are held at the gallery and have included painting, photography, sculpture, film and textile. Check the gallery’s current schedule for the latest exhibitions and program of events.

The gallery also often holds workshops for locals and visitors where you can learn a new skill. Past workshops have included weaving, where participants learned how to weave traditional toys, baskets, hair decorations and crafts from ancient Papua New Guinean methods.
