The Caloundra Bus Interchange is the primary bus station serving both local and long-distance bus routes.

Seats are available right outside, and public toilets are nearby. For a seamless way of travelling around, it’s best to get a go card, the electronic ticket created by TransLink. The go card can be used on all TransLink bus lines and the Airtrain, train, tram, and ferry services in the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Ipswich, and the Gold Coast.

The go card can be used on bus services available in the Caloundra Bus Interchange. It’s more affordable than buying paper tickets and easier to manage. Top-up and use are extremely easy, too. Prices are available for children, adults, seniors, and concessions.

The bus interchange services the following routes:

  • 600 Caloundra to Maroochydore via Mooloolaba & Kawana
  • 602 Caloundra to Maroochydore via Mountain Creek
  • 603 Little Mountain to Caloundra extension to/from Corbould Park (weekends only)
  • 604 Caloundra West to Caloundra
  • 605 Caloundra to Landsborough
  • 606 Baringa to Caloundra
  • 607 Caloundra to University via SCUH & Kawana
  • 609 Pelican Waters to Caloundra

Please refer to the image gallery below for a list of maps for the bus routes that service Caloundra.

Near the bus stop at the transit centre, there are several attractions worth visiting. Get your silver screen fix at the BigScreen Cinemas, a modern theatre that showcases the latest films. BigScreen Cinemas is more than just a cinema: it’s a historic establishment that opened in the 1930s as the Amasu Theatre. It’s an institution in Caloundra: full of history and top-quality entertainment.

If you’re travelling with kids, the best place to visit nearby is the unique bespoke playground at Happy Valley. Kids will have a blast with all the fun activities at this playground, featuring timber wood, soft fall landing through rubber landing pads, and a roofed treehouse. They can use the two slides, ladder, art panels, wall climb, connecting bridge, sand table, ramp, telescope, binoculars, and tunnel. A delicious fish and chip shop is found on-site too.

For your travel, recreation needs and more, you’ll find everything in and around the Caloundra Bus Interchange.
